FabFitFun – The Fall Box 2017

I’m so excited about this season’s FabFitFun box, which, as usual, totally met and surpassed my high expectations. Read on to see what was featured in the FFF Fall 2017 box!

The Box Design

FabFitFun The Fall Box 2017

Even though this color scheme isn’t one of my favorites, it totally gave me fall vibes, and that’s all you can really ask for! The more I look at it, the more the design grows on me.

Molr Dental Club Organic Carbon and Coconut Teeth Whitening Powder and Toothbrush, and dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse

dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse ($35)
Molr Dental Club Organic Carbon + Coconut Teeth Whitening Powder and Toothbrush ($43.95)

These two items were part of this season’s Choice selections as Beauty Innovation Boosts. The Choice selection is similar to Birchbox where you get to choose one of your items in advance, but unlike Birchbox (at least before I unsubscribed, so it may be different now), you can pay an extra $10 to get both items. I really wanted to try both of these items, so I decided to treat myself.

The teeth whitening powder sounds a little weird and even sort of gross, but I’m still excited to give it a shot. The hair rinse can be used as a substitute for both shampoo and conditioner, but I’ll probably still use conditioner anyway – dry curly hair has its needs, right?!

The Jetset Diaries Cable Knit Beanie in Black and Mer-Sea and Co. Scarf

The Jetset Diaries Cable Knit Beanie in Black ($49)
Mer-Sea & Co. Scarf ($98)

This beanie was another Choice selection as a Fashion Boost. I opted for the beanie over the belt, simply because I feel like I’m more likely to actually wear it. I would have loved to have gotten the Dusty Rose color, but black is always so wearable and will go with pretty much any outfit!

Check out the value of the scarf! Such a good deal. As a Select Member, I was able to choose which color I wanted, and I decided to opt for the pinkish one. It’s so soft and luxurious. I can see myself wearing this when I’m in Connecticut for Christmas, taking it on plane rides, or using it as a bed runner as FFF suggests in one of their tips. I think it would make a great gift for anyone who loves cozy items!

Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil, IMM Living Coxet Wire Heart Ceramic Jewelry Holder, and Trestique Matte Color and Shiny Balm Lip Crayon

IMM Living Coxet Wire Heart Ceramic Jewelry Holder ($33)
Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil ($12.50)
Trèstique Matte Color & Shiny Balm Lip Crayon in Florence Fig & Rose Balm ($28)

I think this rose gold jewelry holder is too freakin’ cute! It would be great for its intended use, but can also work as a desktop item. I decided to use it as a sort of display for my Zoella Beauty mini body mists. Six of them fit in a circle around the heart perfectly, with room for a couple more closer to the interior of the dish. Love it!

Lately I’ve been loving lavender things, so I was super excited to see this lavender cuticle oil! It smells gorgeous (just like lavender, of course!) and the bottle is adorable.

The lip crayon was another item Select Members could customize. I went for the pink color instead of the berry color, just because it’s what I typically wear more of. I tried it out and it feels really nice, especially with the balm on top of the lip color to keep it from feeling too dry. Would anyone else get freaked out if they glanced into their cosmetic bag and saw this, thinking it had come uncapped? Totally gonna happen to me, but its worth it!

Mytagalongs Hot and Cold Gel Pack, Private Party Meet Me at the Barre Gym Bag, Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths, and Whish Beauty Renewing Mud Mask

Mytagalongs Hot & Cold Gel Pack ($15)
Private Party ‘Meet Me at the Barre’ Gym Bag ($59)
Whish Beauty Renewing Mud Mask ($48)
Cottonelle Freshcare Flushable Cleansing Cloths (no price listed; estimated under $4)

Until recently, I had hardly ever used hot and cold packs, but I’ve been using them more lately, so I was excited to see one included in this season’s box. Subscribers could have gotten this in black, teal, or the purplish color I received. Each said different things, one referencing heat and one referencing cold. Every time I see “what’s cooler than being cool?” on this, I just sing in my head, “ICE COLD!” I love that this gel pack takes a simple and often boring item and makes it fun.

Select Members were also able to choose from a couple of sayings for their gym bag. I went for this one, which says “MEET ME AT THE BARRE.” I can totally see myself using this bag a lot. It’s great quality and feels just like a new pair of jeans – in a good way!

I love a good face mask now and then! I try to use a face mask at least once a week, and I love trying new ones. I haven’t given this one a shot yet, but am definitely going to use it soon!

If you’ve subscribed to FFF for a little while, you might remember getting a box of Cottonelle flushable wipes one time. Super awkward to talk about, right? But I’m not gonna lie…they’re pretty good. And that’s all I have to say about that, ’cause TMI, right?!

Total value of this season’s FFF box for all subscribers (excluding wipes): Approx. $377 – $392 depending on item selection
Total value of my FFF box with the extra add-on item (excluding wipes): Approx. $421

Check out that total value! I think FFF is worth every penny, even to be a Select Member. My annual subscription was more than paid for with this box alone! I’ve never been disappointed by the boxes I’ve received over the years. While I’ve subscribed and unsubscribed from tons of other boxes, FFF is the one that I haven’t even considered letting go. If you like beauty, fashion, health, and lifestyle products, or are looking for a great subscription box, definitely give FabFitFun a try! Click here to sign up!

If you received this box as well, let me know what your favorite item was! And if you’re not a subscriber, I’d love to hear which items catch your eye the most!
