We’re already four days into December and into Blogmas, which is insane! This month always passes so quickly for those of us who love the holidays, doesn’t it? There’s still time to decorate if you haven’t already, though, and if you’re looking for some silver, gold, copper, rose gold, or other metallic decor, there are lots of items out there. Read on for some suggestions, inspiration, and general Christmas cheer!
As the name suggests, gold is the primary color in this lodge-inspired collection. With lots of hammered metal, textured glass, and items in gold, copper, and white, this collection is perfect for those of you wishing you could spend Christmas in a cabin. There are some really gorgeous items for serving as well, so if you’re going to be hosting Christmas dinner, these products would make such a splash.
Can you really go wrong with silver and gold at Christmastime? I don’t think so. This collection from the always-gorgeous Balsam Hill is full of silver and gold, some glitter, mercury glass, angels, and lots more. If elegance is your thing, you can’t get much more elegant than this!
This collection is inspired by a peaceful, snow-blanketed forest, and features alabaster, granite, and midnight metallics, and lots of twinkling fairy lights. There are also chunky knit items, faux furs, and adorable reindeer, owls, and arctic foxes. Looking for an elegant yet warm and calming theme? Definitely take a look at this collection!
Pottery Barn is at it again with their gorgeous holiday decor. This collection is full of subtle metallics (think frosted metals and mercury glass) in romantic colors like gold, pink/rose gold, berry, and silver. Also, there are some adorable animal ornaments! This collection is so cozy yet elegant, and I would definitely be envious of anyone who had this theme in their home!
If you’re looking for a collection of fire-inspired metallics, this collection is perfect. Terrain is a sister brand of Anthropologie, and they sell gorgeous woodland-inspired items. If you want to feel like you’re in a gold, copper, pink, and red forest at Christmastime, look no further! These items are absolutely gorgeous.
I wanted to throw in a collection for my British readers, so I went straight to the John Lewis website, a store I’ve heard lots about from British bloggers and vloggers. This collection is inspired by a Russian folktale with a gorgeous palace. There are lots of blue tones in this collection, along with silver, gold, and white. If you love mercury glass, decorative baubles, and Russian-inspired items, definitely take a look at this collection.
If you ask me (pretend you did), icy-blue tones just scream wintertime. There are lots of blue metallics in this collection, along with silver, of course. Velvet items and embroidered details make this collection feel warm, cozy, and cheery. If you want metallics with a splash of wintry color, check out this collection.
This is another gorgeous Balsam Hill collection with rustic textures and shades of champagne and ivory metallics. This takes elegance and adds in a nice amount of femininity while still being appealing to many tastes. For a soft, romantic, and fancy look, this collection is wonderful.
This collection is for all of you who love pastel pink, especially when it’s metallic, as well as rose gold, silver, and champagne gold. If you’re not into the shabby chic look, there are still lots of beautiful and feminine metallic items in this collection that aren’t necessarily shabby chic. Of course, if you do love florals, there are some in this collection, too!
As the name hints at, this collection is inspired by champagne, and features metallic champagne (the color, not the drink, of course), gold, and silver, plus plenty of glitter, rhinestones, sequins, and feathers. If you feel like turning your home into a figurative glass of bubbly, this is a fantastic option. So festive and cheery!
Another theme from Terrain, this collection features icy-blues, weathered metals, and shades of silver and gold, plus plenty of fairy lights to capture the look and feel of a frost-covered landscape. I think this collection would be especially gorgeous at homes in beach towns, as it has a slightly coastal vibe with the blue tones, but it would look fabulous at any other home as well!
Last but not least is another collection from John Lewis. This one is inspired by the rugged landscape of the Scottish Highlands, and features copper, silver, gold, and berry shades to give your home a feeling of warmth. Animals make an appearance in this collection as well. If you want your home to feel like it’s a modernized version of Outlander (or just the Scottish highlands in general), you can’t go wrong with this collection.
I hope this gave you a bit of inspiration for your Christmas decor, whether for this year or for Christmases to come. And if none of these quite fit your style, I hope they at least made you feel a bit of Christmas cheer.
