FabFitFun Spring 2018 Box Review

Hey everyone! It’s one of my favorite times of the year: FabFitFun time! FFF is still one of my favorite subscription boxes ever, and one of the only ones I’ve continued to subscribe to. This season’s box is its fifth anniversary box, which is so crazy! I can’t believe so much time has passed. The fact that the boxes have continued to be of such high quality is really amazing, and this season’s box totally met my expectations. Read on to see what was included!

Note: Links to subscribe to FabFitFun are my personal referral link, meaning I will receive a $15 site credit for any new subscription made via that link, at no additional cost to you.
FabFitFun Spring 2018

FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription box featuring full-sized beauty, fashion, wellness, and home decor items with a total value of over $200. A seasonal subscription is $49.99 quarterly, or you can get an annual “Select Member” subscription for $179.99, which gives added perks including more customization, early access to add-on items, and early shipping. All members have the ability to choose an item or two based on personal preference, but Select Members get to customize extra items. For more information or to subscribe, click here.

Rachel Pally Reversible Clutch in Paradise ($60)

This reversible clutch is one of the items that Select Members like myself could customize. As soon as I saw this peach and blue-green option, I knew it would be my choice. One of my favorite color combos, plus a summery pattern? I was sold! It’s a very nice quality clutch that’s super versatile and a great size for carrying essentials. It’s easily one of my favorite items in this season’s box!

ISH Lip Statement Palette ($42)
KNC Beauty All Natural Collagen Infused Lip Mask ($24.99) – Beauty Choice Item

I’m not normally one to use lip palettes or lip products in anything other than lipstick or liquid lipstick form, but I’m actually really excited to try this ISH palette out! The colors are absolutely gorgeous, and with ingredients like rose extract, shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, and aloe vera, they sure won’t be drying like other lip products!

The KNC Beauty lip masks were one of this season’s beauty Choice Items (a choice open to all subscribers). I had no idea they would come in a cute little pouch, so that was a pleasant surprise! I tried one of the masks and was really surprised by how much it plumped my lips! It’s not my favorite product in this season’s box, but it’s not a miss, either. If you’re looking for plumper lips with little risk and no commitment, definitely give these a try!

Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask ($40)
ANDERSON LILLEY Sunset Collection Candle in Fresh Linen ($45)

This eye mask is so fun! It’s a vegan leather eye mask with a removable cooling insert and an adjustable elastic strap, and it features metallic patchwork stars. I received the gray color, but it also came in light pink and mint green. I would have loved to have received one of the other colors, but I really like this gray one. It’s super comfy, and feels so luxurious. If you love cooling eye masks and sleep masks, this really is the best of both worlds!

The ANDERSON LILLEY candle was another item Select Members could customize. I went for Fresh Linen, because it seemed like the safest bet for my sensitive nose. Even with a safe scent, this candle is so strong! After being lit for about five minutes, my entire apartment smelled clean and fresh. It’s not the sort of candle I’ll be leaving lit for more than 20 minutes or so (yup, I’m giving in to dreaded/avoidable candle tunneling!), but it’s great for a quick refresh, and it looks so gorgeous in its copper vessel!

Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion ($40)
KORRES Guava Body Butter ($24) – Beauty Choice Item
Physique 57 Massage Roller ($20)

Murad is one of those brands I’ve gone back to for years. This lotion is a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer that reminds me a lot of Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer in terms of texture and level of hydration. I’ve been using it as a part of my morning routine, and I’m really liking it so far! If you have blemish-prone skin, this is a great moisturizer to try.

The KORRES body butter was another beauty Choice Item this season (if you decide to get both of two choice items, one will cost $10 while the other will be included in the price of your box). With winter weather still going strong in many places, this really comes in handy for helping to moisturize dry, rough skin. It smells great, too!

I’ve been wanting a massage roller for a few months now, so the Physique 57 roller was such a nice surprise. It’s easy to use and isn’t as big as other rollers, and I’ve already felt relief after using it just a few times. This came in four colors selected at random, and I was so excited to have gotten this pretty purple color!

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish (Bonus sponsored item, no value listed)
Dermelect Cosmeceuticals Makeover Concealing Ridge Filler ($18)

I’m a total Dove loyalist, and have been for years. I tried a sample of this body polish a couple of months ago after receiving the same sample in a Target Beauty Box, and it exceeded my expectations. Even though the scent wasn’t my favorite thing ever, it totally delivered in terms of exfoliation. It’s gentle and non-drying, two traits I always expect from Dove, and it left my skin feeling smooth and soft. I really love this stuff, and actually ended up buying a full size version in a different scent after the first time I tried this sample!

The ridge filler is one of the the only products in the box that I haven’t tried yet (along with the lip palette), which is only because I haven’t had time to paint my nails since receiving the box. I can’t wait to try it though, as my nails could definitely use a bit of smoothing!

Ethic Day Dreamer Tassel Earrings ($58) – Jewelry Choice Item

These earrings were one of this season’s jewelry Choice Items, and they were also offered in black. As someone who loves peach and pale pink (and whose wrists are too small for the bracelet that was the other choice item) it was an easy decision for me to make. They are a bit long and aren’t exactly earrings you can wear while running errands (unless you’re braver than I am, in which case, I envy you!), but they’re really pretty and fun!

Total value of this season’s box for all subscribers: $347 – $354.99 depending on customization
Total value of my box this season with my extra item: $371.99

As always, the value of this box far exceeds the subscription price, and a few of the items are some of my favorites I’ve ever gotten in a FFF box! If you’re struggling to choose just one subscription box, I’m team FabFitFun all the way! Click here to subscribe!

Did you receive the Spring 2018 FabFitFun box? I’d love to hear what your favorite item was, or which item you think looks the most exciting! Let me know in the comments!
