I’m Meagan, and I’m a lover of writing, reading, crafting, baking, traveling, shopping, and watching way too much TV. Seriously, TV binges tend to happen way too often with me, and my Apple Watch constantly reminds me of that. I’m one of those people who can’t seem to focus on just one area of life, which is why this blog has a little bit of everything.

In terms of writing and reading, I love anything that keeps me in suspense and turning the pages, whether it’s a young adult or adult novel. Nonfiction books can be interesting too depending on the subject, but my favorite nonfiction tends to be by comedians. If you haven’t read Mindy Kaling’s book, I highly recommend it! I laughed out loud on the airplane while reading it. Super embarrassing, but it convinced the person next to me to buy it, so…there’s that.

I’ve been crafting my whole life, though how much time I spend crafting comes in waves. There’s a massive stack of craft magazines and books on my shelves that I can reference when I need inspiration. I love sewing, embroidery, crocheting, weaving, paper crafts, all sorts of holiday crafts, DIY home and decor projects, and making cute things with wool felt.

I don’t love cooking, just because I’m not very good at it yet. I’ll get there one day, I hope. I do like baking, though. I’m not exactly fantastic at that either, but the end result is totally worth it to satisfy my sweet tooth. Plus, desserts and sweets make great gifts!

Traveling. I wish I could do that more often, but when I do get to do it, I love it. My favorite places I’ve been are Disney World, Disneyland, Italy, San Diego, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Savannah, Boston, NYC, Oregon, Nashville, Dallas, and Vancouver. The next places I’d love to go to are places all over Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii.

I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2013 with a BA in linguistics. I absolutely loved UA, and it’ll always be one of my favorite places. I was raised a Wildcat (my parents met there) and will be a Wildcat forever. Bear Down!
